In this room you can see the donation made by the family of Vicent García with facsimiles of the most important illuminated manuscripts and codices in the history of the Kingdom of Valencia. It also features other facsimiles of codices published by Vicent García Editores, a bronze sculpture of our King Don Jaime I the Conqueror, a replica of his sword and one of the seals he used. You can also see the facsimile of the first literary work printed in Valencia, Spain: Obres o trobes en laors de la Verge Maria (Lambert Palmart Printers, 1474) or the facsimile of the Gutenberg Bible (Mainz, 1453)… |
