Synopsis:

Book illustrated with a later engraving, in several colours, representing a scene of the Stations of the Cross, Jesus on the cross, flanked by Saint John and Mary Magdalene.

Written in Latin, it covers the thirteen masses of Saint Gregory, and most importantly, it includes for the first time the sign of the blessing of the boundary of Valencia.

First Valencian missal, commissioned by the chapter from Venetian printers, due to a mistrust of the Valencians, some of whom were labelled as doubtful converts. It was financed by Andrés de Mantua, patron admirer of the Valencian clergy.
