Synopsis:

As the title indicates, this is a monograph (also included in Bibliofilia Antigua II, but in Spanish) which examines the translation, printed in 1510, from Latin into Valencian of the book of the Vida de Sant Vicent Ferrer. This has been co-published with the Universitat de València.

The Antique book, printed in 1510 by the most important printer in Valencia of the first third of the XVI century, Joan Jofré, with a drawing of Sant Vicent Ferrer.

First biography of the saint under Miquel Pereç, famous writer and coauthor of Les Trobes en Lahors de la Verge Maria. More than a biography, it is a eulogy of the virtues of Sant Vicent Ferrer, a memory of what tradition has collected of his devotions, prophecies and miracles.
