Synopsis: Hagiography in Valencian that can be seen with a curious xylographic print on the title page: In the middle of a field, we see the body of Saint Onuphrius (san Onofre) with his halo, beard and long hair. His arms are crossed, he is covered by furs until the knees, he is waiting to receive sepulchre by an anchorite saint who shows the place to two lions who want to open tomb. Who was Saint Onuphrius? He was an Egyptian monk, who lived in the IV century, as a cenobite in Edico, monastery of Thebes, and later as a hermit. The image previously described wishes to remind us and enlighten us of Saint Onuphrius 's life, thanking Paphnutius, who going deep into the dessert by himself, found the saint, when had already been 60 years by himself, fasting and lonely. After blessing his visitor, Onuphrius died. Paphnutius had replied, without a doubt, to a divine impulse which moved him to this solitary meeting and burial.
