Synopsis: The author of this poetry work in Italian is Bartolomeo dalli Sonetti, known also as Bartolomeo Zamberti in catalogues and repertoires. The book exhibited in our collection shows the typographic variance, as opposed to other copies of the same edition, of offering two sonnets which appear printed in the sheets [a] 12v and [b] 3v, and three sonnets in [c] 4v, which also appear with the typographical signature b with a large size: This singular copy is important because it shows some headings in purple ink as well as maps of islands that have been highlighted and contain hand notes. On the back of sheet 40 it shows a manuscript sonnet, entitled "Sincerus" and underneath: "Dil virtuoso. Sore Christofino de Orla..." (From the virtuous...). On the third page, there is a manuscript index.
