Synopsis:

Historiography does not agree with the two possible authors being considered for this enigmatic book: Jaume Febrer or Jaume Esquerra. Nevertheless, a conscious and effective historian such as Teixidor found out that all lineages belonging to letter A were true, which means that historical knowledge of the problematic author was wide and truthful.

The manuscript begins with an explanation of what nobility is. Then it conducts a study on the different forms of address and titles, following a few notions of heraldry along with a graphic explanation of the meaning of each of the components of each shield, drawing them in ink. After that, there is an alphabetical index of the names of the lineages who participated in the conquest of the Kingdom of Valencia and an introduction to the "trobes" (Poem-songs sung by Troubadours). Following the suggestions of the Infante Don Pedro, these latter consists of the name of the lineage, the shield illuminated in water and eleven verses.
